On 20th December 2019, Ms.Apple held a fundraising event in partnership
with great child foundation to raise funds and donations do her charity
birthday celebration on 21st in Buwambo at the organization together the
children. She came with a group of friends and the brought donations such as
clothes, food, scholastic materials, drinks, eats among others. The birthday
celebration comprised of food, drinks and some game, The donations were
given out to the children before the departure of the visitors.
OBJECTIVES.
- To donate to the organization.
- To create memories with the children as they have fun with them.
- To share love with the children and give them hope.
ACHIEVEMENTS
- Children had a lot of fun with the visitors
- We received donations i.e scholastic material, clothes, food among
others - Visitor had a good time with the children and the event was a success.
- Organisation awareness by some of the visitors that didn’t know about
much about it before.
PROBLEMS
- Congestion and confusion during the distribution of the donation
among children since a lot of people from the community attended the
event. - Misbehavior of some team member i.e Mr.Mpangi who ended up
fighting with the people - Misbehaviors of the birthday girl and friends i.e they came when they
were drunk and also in the presence of the children they the same.
SOLUTIONS
- Briefing visitors the dos and don’ts before they come to the
organization - Parents or guardians should be the ones to take their children’s
donations to avoid confusions. - Organisation worker should learn to control their anger towards
situation to avoid fights and quarreling with the people
