We hosted visitors from AOG (A smart way Of Giving), it is the first working smart contact that utilizes technology to help underprivileged children by providing gaming entertainment and transparency to the contributors. They offered the foundation some money of 2.5 million, which was to go towards children’s school fees and we also had a discussion with them about the challenges schools in Buwambo face, Then we paid a visit together with them to one of the schools where some of our children study (Buwambo C/U Primary School) and got to know the most challenge they have which was; water problem. Students moving long distances to get the water from the wells which the school uses for cooking food, porridge, cleaning classes and offices and also spending money to buy from taps. So AOG offered to construct a borehole for the school to solve the challenge the school was having.
OBJECTIVES
- To save the time children waste in walking long distance to get water instead of being in class.
- To make water available at any time
- To solve the school challenge of no having water to use.
- To save the school from spending on buying water.
ACHIEVEMENTS
- AOG got to witness the challenges the school is having and offered to help.
- The students and teacher became very happy because their prayers were answered
- We got some school fees to pay children and they were not they were not sent back home.
